Join Axios D.C. at Bethesda’s new bookstore, Wonderland Books, on May 8 for our next book club event!

Why it matters: Book discussions, wine, your fellow Axios D.C. readers … need we say more?

What’s happening: Axios D.C. reporter Mimi Montgomery will interview Baltimore author Eric Puchner about his new novel and Oprah’s Book Club pick, “Dream State,” a portrait of a decades-long friendship forever altered by one decision, set against a Montana landscape impacted by climate change.

Guests will also have the chance to ask Puchner questions about his book.

We’ll have wine, and attendees are welcome to hang around before and after to check out the store and meet fellow readers.

The fine print: Wonderland will have copies of “Dream State” for sale, and you can also buy it ahead of time via their Bookshop link.
